Confirmed: the flame is coming to Colorado.
LA28 confirmed a relay across all 50 states, starting in Atlanta in spring 2028. The Colorado route and dates come with the full route announcement in 2027, and this page will update the moment they do.
Colorado Springs is the headquarters of the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee and home to an Olympic Training Center; Denver remains the only city ever to win a Winter Games bid and then turn it down (1976).

These are my picks, not a predicted route.
Torchbearer selection has not opened yet. Based on recent Games, expect open applications and sponsor nomination programs in 2027, plus community torchbearer slots reserved for local heroes in each state. The only official source is la28.org, and nobody can sell you a guaranteed slot.
I am campaigning to carry the flame myself, and I would carry Colorado's enthusiasm with me. Read the complete torchbearer guide, see everything confirmed about the 50-state relay, or add your name to my nomination wall.
